Universal Life Church
of Oklahoma

Statement of Faith

The Universal Life Church of Oklahoma is founded upon the sacred principle of the universality of life. The Universal Life is the omnipresence of God, the Living Spirit of Creation. Because God is the omnipresent Living Spirit of Creation, as a result the various religious traditions of the cultures of humanity are valid forms of worship of the One Living God.

Therefore, the Universal Life Church of Oklahoma acknowledges the validity of rites, ceremonies and forms of worship of the various faiths and traditions of worship of all the societies of mankind as emanating from the same Divine source, with the exception of sacraments which involve the taking of life in the form of sacrifices of animals or human beings. The Universal Life Church of Oklahoma explicitly does not condone, and will not ordain any person to the ministry, who practices any form of worship of the "devil," "Satan," or evil of any kind.

The Universal Life Church of Oklahoma is an integral part of the Universal Life Communion, which includes the Universal Life Church, Inc., of Modesto, California, and its members. The Universal Life Communion is based upon the premise of the motto: "Do What is Right!" The purpose of this motto is to suggest that merely knowing what is right is not sufficient, but that knowledge of right compels the individual to actually do what is right.

Our Principles
We believe everyone is already a member of the Church - but not yet aware of it.

The Universal Life Church will ordain anyone, without question of faith, for free. We have two tenets: the right of Freedom of Religion, and "Do That which is Right".
We're All-Denominational.

Any minister of the church may ordain new ministers.
The Universal Life Church will not stand between you and the Divine. No dogma, no hierarchies - for us Freedom of Religion is Freedom from Religion. Each member is free to follow their own path, as long as it does not infringe on others.

Change my heart oh God, make it ever true.
Change my heart oh God, may I be like You.

You are the potter, I am the clay,
Mold me and make me, this is what I pray.
